Doris Pariso recently retired from her job as a teacher. While working as a teacher she self-published two children's books: Survivor Tree and Willie Wants a Star, In retirement, she has pursued her lifelong passion of writing. Run! Katie! is her debut novel. Doris, her husband Bart and dog Deek travel the country in their motorhome. Along with penning her first novel, she keeps a blog on their travels.
